Antoni Shows Feet to Sell 'Railmaster' Watch
Andrea Marks Joseph READ TIME: 1 MIN.
"That is the dirtiest watch name I've ever heard." The person who wrote this comment on "Queer Eye" star and NatGeo's "No Taste Like Home" host Antoni Porowski's post for watch brand Omega totally gets it.
This is a watch name that has history behind it, and many years of sexual jokes ahead of it. Porowski made the decision to lean into that horny energy and really go for it with marketing: Antoni Porowski is showing feet to sell the 'Railmaster' watch, boldly proclaiming "who needs shoes when you have an Omega #railmaster?" So true, Antoni. So true!
There is a genuine, practical backstory to the horny name: Introduced in 1957 alongside the Speedmaster and Seamaster, the Railmaster is part of a collection specifically designed for engineers, scientists, and railroad workers – professions which could benefit from a timepiece built to withstand the magnetic interference inherent to their workplaces.
In his caption, alongside a photo featuring his out and proud bare feet, his white shirt unbuttoned to display a hint of bejewelled bare chest, Porowski explains that "while I don't fully understand what that exactly means, I do know it looks damn good and I'm not taking it off anytime soon." Once again, the man speaks truth, and if he continues to go the extra mile by undressing in creative ways, we'll continue to proclaim our truth: We love to see it!
While we're here, check out some highlights from Antoni's grid.
