Grindr app developers have apparently been listening to everyone's gripes about being ghosted and not able to hold a conversation with other users because the developers are allegedly planning to roll out a new artificial intelligence boyfriend feature.

As reported by Pride.com, the "AI boyfriend" feature will work as a wingman of sorts for users to help them close the deal, including planning dates, comebacks and conversation starters. The feature will be a part of the app's paid features and is developed as part of a partnership with Ex-human Inc.

"If we don't do it, someone else will," said Grindr Chief Executive Officer George Arison in an interview with Bloomberg last year. "If you're not first to market with something in AI, you're going to miss out."

Additionally, Grindris assign an AI feature that will give you an AI boyfriend to sext and chat with when real users just aren't biting.

And if things aren't creepy enough yet, the AI boyfriend will reportedly be trained off of private and explicit messages between app users, so the AI boyfriend will know exactly how to turn you on.

Depending on what you're into, this could be a dream or a nightmare. What do you think?
