EDGE chats with Winter Rendezvous (January 18-22) organizer Michael Wilson to get the inside scoop on this year's schedule.

What are some of the featured activities included this year at Winter Rendezvous?
The opening party at the brand new Stowe Bowl, featuring designer Parke and Ronen and 3D laser "black out" party are both new and exciting. The VIP "open bar" bonfire and giant indoor pool party are crowd favorites.

Those are just a few of the many scheduled events this year. Stowe Mountain Resort offers the most open terrain in northern Vermont. With 485 acres and miles of terrain on hundreds of trails. not to mention skiing and riding available for all ability levels.

Full Skier/Rider package includes discounted $46 per day lift tickets, rentals and lessons Wednesday through Sunday. Access to all seven events: Opening Party, Jimmy James, Black Out Party, Julie Goldman, Pool Party, VIP Bonfire Cocktail Reception and Blowout Party, plus special rates on lodging. The Weekend Skier/Rider package includes discounted $46 per day lift tickets, rentals and lessons on Saturday and Sunday. Access to four events: Julie Goldman, Pool Party, VIP Cocktail Reception and Blowout Party, plus special rates on lodging. We have non-skier packages available for those who want to enjoy all the parties and entertainment as well as non-skiing activities like snowshoeing, cross country, ice skating, dog sleds and horse-drawn sleigh rides.

Are there any transportation packages?
Van transportation for small groups traveling from NYC can be arranged. Most people carpool or fly into Burlington, VT.

What is your own personal favorite event?
The giant indoor pool party at Trapp Family Lodge and the Downhill Costume Drag Race at Stowe Mountain Resort.

Is there anything that you wish to add?
Yes, the event is extremely affordable compared to other Gay Ski Weeks and attracts between 400-500 LGBTQ winter enthusiasts to Stowe each year for five days of wintry bliss. it's the largest and longest-running gay and lesbian ski event on the East Coast, offering nonstop action and entertainment for skiers and non-skiers alike.

For savings on lift tickets, rental equipment and lessons, registered Winter Rendezvous participants ski and ride for $46 per day compared to the normal lift ticket rate of $120 per day.
