The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood (1650 Harrison Street Hollywood) will present a show curated by internationally renowned artist William Cordova: transphysics: istwa, landscapes, paisajes. The exhibition will run from November 5 through January 8 with the Opening Reception taking place tonight and free for members and $10 for non-members.

Williamson, Director of the Palm Beach Poetry Festival, and Dr. Blaise Allen, Director of Community Outreach, today invited local poets and poetry fans to "Translation in Poetry A Workshop" with Professor Becka McKay at 1 pm. Participants in this workshop will create their own versions of poems originally written in German, Chinese, and Japanese - with no foreign language experience required. This event takes place at the Old School Square (51 N. Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach) and the cost is $10 per person. Rumors presents the "Not So Smart Ride" at 2 pm, where they present the 2nd annual Big Wheel Relay Race. Any Smart ride team can enter but they must provide their own big wheel and registration is $20. This fun event is hosted by Daisy Deadpetals and features awards for best team costumes, best pimped out ride and crowd favorite. Winning team receives 30% of all funds raised at event. The remaining teams will evenly split the balance, so everyone is a winner.

Live Music and Burlesque Dinner Show set to open on Lincoln Road
Producer Edison Farrow and The Cabaret South Beach presents a brand new supper club and dinner show. Previews begin on Saturday, November 5th, Saturday, November 12th & Sunday, November 13th. The performances are scheduled for 7:30pm and 10pm each night in the supper club on the second floor of Yuca Restaurant 501 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach. This incredibly talented cast includes singers Envee, Mailyn Soulfree, Janae Catt, Saskya Sky, Lexa Paige, Fernando Castro; and musicians Freddie Colloca, Albert Bade & Humberto Casanova.
