READ TIME: 2 MIN.
OUTtv premiered "Laid Bare", a new gay murder mystery series, on January 7, 2026, with two episodes available initially on OUTtv. om and subsequent episodes releasing weekly on Wednesdays. The series is set at Desert Paradise Resort, a gay-managed clothing-optional getaway in Palm Springs, California, featuring a communal pool, sundeck with misting system, and loungers.
The plot centers on the aftermath of wealthy businessman Nikos Lambrakis's death just before his 60th birthday; he owned the resort and invited guests who attended his birthday party, which included an orgy. Each guest had blackmailed Lambrakis over his sexuality, and upon gathering, they learn his inheritance will be split equally among them—the fewer survivors, the larger each share. Ten men, including Lambrakis's adult sons Alistair and Aaron , are picked off one by one in a "horny sendup of a cozy Agatha Christie mystery.
The first two episodes feature extensive nudity, including an orgy, multiple butts, and 11 full frontals within the first 20 minutes, with men playing naked in the pool and exchanging flirtatious glances. The cast includes Jason Caceres as Olympic athlete Cassidy Raines, Zack Rocklin-Waltch as socialite Barron Hemmings, Jaymes Hayden Rodriguez as publicist Bryan Byrne, Marval Rex as fashion model Montana Briggs, Michael Deni as animal rights activist Liam McKay, Nicolas Zuluaga as adult film star Jesse Steele, and Ephraim López as Steele's partner and former professor Eric Barnard.
Creators Tim O'Leary and Robert Rice, who also plays Aaron, developed the series to blend mystery with unapologetic gay sexuality at a nudist resort. Ethan Daniel Corbett, in his first nude role, described the cast bonding by hanging out as resort guests before filming: "We all got comfortable with each other pretty much instantly. He added, "I wanted to throw myself into it. . ready to fully commit and do it with a full ass instead of half-assing anything, highlighting his growth in body confidence.
Beyond the explicit content, "Laid Bare" addresses self-doubt, body insecurity, and the realities of clothing-optional spaces, while including trans representation among its characters. Marval Rex discussed his role as Montana Briggs, noting the show's "quietly radical"approach in a darkly comedic context.
