Since reemerging on the pop scene, singer Aiden Leslie has made it his mission to revitalize the fabric of popular music and also the perception in the industry of the openly gay music artist. "There are so many different ways to express yourself; I'm growing so much as an artist." His latest track is called "Diamond Dreams" and it's certainly very promising for this talented performer that's living his dream.

"I wanted to stay within the realm of the music I've been performing," Aiden reveals about the new single. "It's top 40 pop/rock, but it has a little more of an edge." The song also infuses some 80's rock into its production. "I definitely think it's got an 80's feel to it, but it's very current...very relevant."

Hitting the PRIDE circuit this season and coming to a city near you, Aiden just got back from headlining Washington DC's PRIDE Festival. "Being in our nation's capital was special. The energy alone was incredible." He performed on a bill that included Deborah Cox, a personal inspiration of his, as well as Crystal Waters. "I've always danced to these artists, and it was really cool to be sharing a trailer with those artists."

It's been an incredible ride for the young pop sensation. "This has been a landmark year," he gratefully acknowledges and is thrilled to be premiering the new single "Diamond Dreams" in New York City this weekend at the event that will be opening up our week of PRIDE parties.
