Pop star Jason Derulo apologized to makeup artist James Charles Tuesday after the singer's Twitter account was hacked and the perpetrator used a gay slur at the YouTuber.

Pop Crush notes that the hacker sent offensive tweets to Megan Thee Stallion and leaked private direct messages.

In the message to Charles, the hacker wrote "@jamescharles shake sum ass you sexy juicy faggot." The YouTuber responded in a now-deleted tweet, simply writing, "omg."

A few hours after the hack, Derulo tweeted: "Sorry y'all. Obviously my account was hacked today."

Derulo and Charles previously teamed up for some TikToks. Watch a clip below.
